Packy Delivers ("Packy," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you use our campus package delivery service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to fulfill your delivery request. This includes:

• Your name
• Your dorm building and room number
• Your phone number (for SMS delivery notifications)
• Your delivery preference (hand-to-hand or no-contact drop)
• Your selected delivery window
• Payment information — processed securely through Stripe. Packy never stores your card number, bank details, or payment credentials.
• Delivery confirmation photos — timestamped photos taken at pickup and delivery for verification purposes only.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively to fulfill your delivery request. Specifically:

• To assign your order to a driver in your zone
• To send you SMS notifications about your delivery status
• To confirm and document delivery completion
• To resolve any claims or disputes related to your order
• To maintain records of completed transactions for our business operations

We do not use your information for marketing purposes without your consent. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

Packy does not collect:

• Social security numbers or government ID numbers
• Academic records or student account information
• Location data beyond what is necessary to confirm delivery
• Any information about the contents of your package

4. How We Store Your Information

Your order information is stored securely in our delivery management system. Delivery confirmation photos are stored for a minimum of 30 days following your delivery to support any claims or disputes. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Packy never has access to your full payment details.

5. SMS Notifications

By placing an order with Packy, you consent to receive SMS notifications related to your delivery. These include a notification when your driver is approximately 2 minutes away (for hand-to-hand deliveries), a notification if your delivery is delayed, and a confirmation when your delivery is complete. You will not receive promotional or marketing messages via SMS unless you separately opt in to those communications.

6. Third-Party Services

Packy uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• SMS provider — for delivery notifications. Messages are triggered by delivery events only.

These services have their own privacy policies and are governed by their respective terms. Packy selects third-party services that maintain strong privacy and security standards.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information Packy holds about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records

8. Data Retention

We retain order records and delivery confirmation photos for a minimum of 90 days following your delivery. After that period, records may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form for operational analysis. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us directly.

9. Children's Privacy

Packy's service is intended for currently enrolled university students who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately at support@packydelivers.com.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
